Brain and Evolution 2018: First Japanese-German Summer School on Comparative Neuroscience and Brain Evolution

We successfully hosted in collaboration with the Institute of Cognitive Neuroscience from Ruhr University Bochum the first Japanese-German summer school on comparative brain evolution. Speakers from both countries presented exciting talks of the newest research, covering topics from bird behavior to the neuroanatomy of fish and whale brains. Despite that the school had to be cut short due to the big earthquake, this summer school received a very positive feedback from all participants.
